        Awareness is important, but also is physical action. By cleaning up wilderness areas you making a tangible difference, plus you get the people who have been removed from wilderness and spend too much time inside back to the reason they have a job. Please don't let this anniversary celebration be a waste of government funds or a ceremonial presentation that has no concrete positive affect.

        This is a great idea and would definitely increase awareness of wilderness within the workforce. It would also be a great way to raise awareness outside the government of the importance of a having a strong, supported, and funded federal work staff. This may also be an opportunity to incorporate traditional skills training for staff, where appropriate.
