  Poster contests are a great opportunity for schools and other organizations to educate their constituents, provide for reflection on the messages, and then allow sharing of what has personally been learned, internalized, or come to value.

  Logo ideas from contest can provide great insights, but finals should be thoughtful and technically proficient for the organization or celebration to be taken seriously. One reason professional design organizations frown upon contests is because entrants often lack a rounded understanding of what the symbol should represent.
